i’m not doing anything for halloween this year but i still love this holiday! the WoW hallows eve event is so much fun, and i’m making a bunch of cool spooky things for my store in second life. i kinda miss being a part of hacker house but it’s better not to try going back there.

my parents birthdays are also this month! my dad got my mom an awesome secret present… and i’m not going to post about it because i dunno if she reads this or not so but it’s awesome and i hope it will be here soon i’m going to snag her mp3 player and fill it with music as soon as she gives me the cord to do that… i don’t have any money so i figured that would be the best way to give her some sort of gift. for my dad we are baking his favourite pie that he used to get every year for his birthday from his mom.

so yeah that’s about all that’s going on but yay i love this time of year… except that it’s cold, and i hate being cold… but otherwise yay.

so.. i’m sitting here waiting for my world server to stop being lame… and i figured i might post a little about what i’ve seen so far with the new WoW patch.

Likes:

i definitely like some of the new tweeks they’ve added to stuff. the calendar is so cool! i always forget when festivals and the fair is but with this i always know. the achievements section kicks ass too… it gives me another area to go to for things to poke at when i’m not interested in taking on an actual quest. i haven’t been to a barber shop yet so i’m not sure if i care for the haircut thing or not… we’ll see when i get to one lol.

Dislikes:

well i dislike the fact that i have to wait until later today to get the update to my ui >_< i have totally forgotten how to use the classic ui because i’ve been using spartian ui for a really long time now.. 90% of my mods don’t work.. thankfully one of my most useful and important ones does work so i’m still playing in between world server crashes.

that’s another dislike.. i’m not sure what’s going on but everyone keeps getting disconnected and it SUCKS! just take the god damn servers offline if you are going to crash every 15 minutes!

wowace has discontinued their addon updater program so i had to switch to the curse client, which is actually nicer than the wow ace updater lol guess i should have been with them all along.

one more thing that sucks is that my subscription runs out in november right when the new expansion comes out and i don’t have any money left so i can’t buy the expansion or even a game card to keep my subscription going at least they don’t kill your characters if you disappear for a month… i’ll have xmas money and i’ll use that to buy a card and maybe if i get enough, the expansion as well.

my mom has been hinting that she’s bored and misses working… unfortunately she cannot get a job due to my father being ill. last night i proposed she start doing pay per post blogging and perhaps make a little supplemental income on the side. my dad sells stuff on ebay and does pretty well so i figure if they both are doing stuff they’ll have a little pocket money to go out together once in a while.

so going over all of this stuff i tell my boyfriend about it and how HE is interested in it as well. hell i’d jump on the boat too if i had a paypal but due to lack of bank account i can’t get one of those. maybe in the future and certainly not on this blog (my subject matter here would be a turn off to advertisers anyway)

so this all means i get to teach my mom how to blog! lol this should be fun. she writes in a paper journal but she’s not really experienced online… i’m going to get her set up and get her started and then after she’s got the hang of it we’ll get involved with the paid post deal. if anyone has any tips or reccomendations do let me know. please note i’m not a big fan of the pay per post stuff but due to the fact that we really have little spending money, anything is better than nothing.
