someone somewhere has marked my comments on their blog as spam using akismet, which means that now, akismet thinks i am comment spam and sends my comments to the spam queue. so if you are from despair and you havne’t recieved comments from me, please check your queue to see if i ended up there…

does anyone know how i can go about fixing this? it’s really crap to be marked as spam when you’re definitely not! not to mention on my own blog when i reply to someone’s comments my comment gets sent to my own spam queue!

ok now that i’m done complaining i figure i’ll give a little update on the WoW adventures with lucas. we’re at level 27 now! going pretty quick since we’re constantly in a group… not to mention this server is a little more high rate than the regular WoW so we get more experience per quest and stuff like that. its been fun so far. i’ve never really played enough of the blood elf side to see what it’s like but so far we’ve done some really cool quests and i love the scourge areas… so pretty!

being dragged off to do more of that! *poofs*

  • That really sucks, but I have no idea how to fix that.. Maybe e-mail the creaters of Askimet?

  • It is possible…that your website is similar to a real spam thing and it just got marked by association. Really sucks though.

  • What probably happened is that your site somehow made it to someone’s spam box and instead of marking it “not spam” they simply left it or deleted it, telling akismet that your comment was indeed spam. This has happened to me several times, but I think it has alot to due with “sexy” being in my website name. I’m not really sure there’s much you can do about it other than de-spamming them when you comment on your own domain and hoping akismet picks up on that.

I’ve never played Wow. I have a friend who keeps trying to get me to play it and even promises to help “level me”, although I’m not sure what that means. I keep telling him that I’m going to play it and I do have every intention of checking it out it’s just finding the time to do it that’s the problem. I hear alot of people talking about it so I’m guessing it’s fun.

  • Ouch, sucks to be blacklisted on blogs, especially your own. Hope you can get that fixed. I’ve never been a WoW fan, and I’m not up for paying for MMORPGs, so I just play a little bit of Guild Wars and Perfect World on occasion.

  • The Akismet website says that their site should automatically pick up on this. So, I guess it’s just a matter of hoping that you are marked as not spam enough for their system to catch on and deblacklist it.
