NOOOOOO
why the hell do american movie makers still insist on taking already awesome things to turn into crap ass movies?!?! will they never learn??? did XMEN MEAN NOTHING TO YOU FUCKERS!?
seriously, i’m tired of it. LEAVE MY ANIME ALONE! you’ve already ruined several comic books with this crap you do not need to start ruining perfectly good anime as well. its bad enough we port over japanese horror movies and then ruin them to “better fit american audiences” which really means “we took out all the really good stuff and replaced it with bad sex and more gore” and i like gore, but dammit.. japanese horror is amazing because it makes you go “‘uh.. whut?” and every time they try to convert that to an american film it blows ass chunks.
the article does say that there are people involved in the original cartoon involved with this movie so maybe it has hope but i seriously doubt it :/
this rant was brought to you today by me not having anything coherent to blog about.

i don’t love you
i feel utterly bored with myself lately. i wish i wasn’t so dull. it makes me angry with myself. why can’t i just do something with myself? why do i always feel like just sitting here like a lump.. being dull and listless.. i can’t even keep myself to mundane tasks that should be automatic.
i wish that i could love myself.
last night i finally got to see Repo! The Genetic Opera! i was so excited and i wasn’t let down either… that movie kicked ass!
the cast was great, lots of sorta known actors, and some singers, but they did a hell of a job.
the story is set in the distant future when organ failure starts to run rampant and many people start dying. a group called geneco comes up with a way to fix the problem and starts marketing surgery as a popular cosmetic way to enhance yourself from the outside in. they make it affordable to the less fortunate with payment plans. however if you miss payments, they repo your organs.
the whole story is very twisted and kinda sick but on the whole a great film. people like anthony stewart head (from buffy fame) and bill mosley grace the cast as well as paul sorvino who was also in romeo and juliet and is a great singer as well as an actor. and i cannot forget, sarah brightman, who was beautiful in this film.. oh and paris hilton who added some serious lulz during the film. though i was pretty impressed with what little acting she did, she wasn’t bad. she even had a singing part, and it didn’t suck.
so i loved it and now writing this makes me want to go watch it again. i sadly had to find it though ill-gotten means since they made the movie limited release, and that always means “not comming anywhere near you” for me because i live in shit-hole no where. but as soon as i have money and this sucker comes out on dvd i will buy it because yes it is actually worth money spent.
so if you can get your hands on it.. see it!
