i’m trying hard with all my might to stop being a lazy unhealthy person, but seriously, its hard to do! i’ve never really been athletic, my gym teachers all hated me and i nearly flunked high school because i could not run a mile under 10 minutes (yes i am that bad) i was never overweight in high school but i was never healthy either.
now i AM overweight… no i’m not going to lie, i am, and i need to fix it. but i have such bad habits to break and i’m having a lot of trouble.
since i really don’t have a job in the real world, i sit around online a lot and never get up and move around. that’s top on my priority list recently… just moving around, trying to remind myself that i am not glued to that chair. i tried to do a simple 10 minute cardio workout using a video from spark people and i felt like i was going to fall face first onto the floor when it was over!
my diet is also of concern to me recently. i’m trying to eat more healthy food and less junk, but sometimes i slip up and i give up and ugh.. its vicious cycle time.
i have pretty much quite all drinks with the exception of bottled water and a capri sun or two for flavour. the tap water here sucks so i stick with the bottled water.. capri sun isn’t too bad but i suck them down too fast.
spark people has been helping me stick with things and i’m really glad that site is around. if you read this and you’re a member there, please feel free to add me to your friends list. most of the people who have added me so far aren’t really in my age range so i don’t really speak to them. i have a hard time talking to people a lot older than i am. so it would be great to have some people who are around the same age as me.
ok i’m off to give myself a break from the sweating!
