breaking bad habits
one of my really bad habits is having a wonky sleeping pattern. i’ll go for a week or so getting up at the buttcrack of dawn, then as the month progresses, it’ll slowly flip, and i’ll get up later and later in the day until i’m staying up all night into the next day and sleeping mid day only to wake up at somewhere around 3 or 4 am.
i get like this because i don’t have a set schedule due to not having a job, and it really drives me nuts. its hard to stop and its one of the habits i’m having trouble breaking. i need to keep a set sleeping schedule in order to maintain the rest of the routine i have going here.. especially the diet part. i have noticed that when i don’t sleep normal hours, i tend to binge eat because my body doesn’t really know what day it is and i tend to feel hungry more.
does anyone have any tips on how to work this out? its easy when i have a job because i can for some reason maintain the schedule perfectly, but when i have open time and no structure, it just goes nuts.
