sorry for no blogging! i got a little bit lazy. my dad is back home finally and feeling a lot better! thanks for all your well wishes, i really appreciate them and so does he. so life has kinda returned to normal now and i am really relieved.

today is twloha day i think.. or it was yesterday.. not sure darn website makes it look like its today but somewhere it says it was on the 12. so i’m not sure X_x anyway if you guys are interested in a great charity i really reccomend you check out twloha. i’ve been supporting them via the site socialvibe.com and they are really close to their goal on there! you can find out more about twloha on their website and check out that link to socialvibe as well!

finally starting to take the time to work on the graphics i wanted to use on this blog layout… been using the bare bones for too long! you may notice changing colours and other junk over the next little bit while i fiddle with css. lemmie know if anything is completely broken!

i just saw the first episode of the new V show. really really liked it. i saw a few of the old V episodes and i always planned to go back and absorb as much of that show as i could lol but now i’m going to hold off and watch this for a while, and then go back and poke at the old show so i can nitpick and see which one is better.

i think its interesting the parallels of the two new shows i’ve gotten hooked on. the patterns of the shows are similar and that’s kinda odd. the main main character is an FBI agent. in both flash forward and V the agent is working on terrorist attacks. both shows start out with a major shock to the world. oh and both shows come on, on days starting with T. but that’s only odd to me because i’m weird like that.

i hate getting addicted to new tv shows! i hate the waiting around for new episodes i just want to see the whole thing now! when i was checking out the episode i noticed on the website they had little “related” links and i saw something called eastwick. pretty sure that’s a witches of eastwick tv show and if i’m right.. then there will be 3 new shows that i’m hooked on. eastwick seems to have more episodes though, so i’ll save it and maybe go watch the whole first season of it after its over with.

its been pretty dull here lately… with dad gone i have mostly been sitting in my room watching tv and reading e-books found using a pdf search engine. i’m kinda taking a break from all videogames at the moment.. just trying to clear my head.

dad’s still in the hospital and they aren’t sure what’s up with his pacemaker. tomorrow they are going to do some testing on it to see what’s going on. my brother came down with the flu and was worried it was H1N1 but apparently its just the normal flu. my mom is going crazy with stuff she has to keep up with for dad (his ebay stuff mostly) and i’m just sorta trying to help where i can.

my mom drove all the way to the hospital (its an hour drive to the one dad’s at) only to be told that dad is not going home and infact is in the icu once more. he had more of those weird arrythmia attacks which cause his heart to beat weird. when his heart does that the defib goes off and shocks him to try and regain a normal rhythm. so either the medication they gave him didn’t work, or something else is wrong.

As the holiday seasons are coming up, many people are planning parties to celebrate. Most people just run down to Wal-Mart or Hallmark and pick up a box of premade invites or send an online invite via email. dad’s finally coming home from the hospital today. i hope he won’t be going back (except for his regular visits) any time soon! what a crappy way to start the month lets hope the rest of it is super good in comparison!

finally we know what the hell happened. my dad has to take a lot of medications to keep going. my dad has congestive heart failure, and all the crap that goes with it. he has an enlarged heart as well as arrhythmia. apparently the medication he takes for his enlarged heart has stopped working properly and that aggravated his arrhythmia. so they are putting him on stronger medication. the doctors said that the medication he was on was temporary and that sometimes it lasts for months sometimes it lasts for years before it needs to be changed. so it was only a matter of time before this happened. (personally i think that’s a little vague and i don’t think shit like this should happen at all! he could have died!) he is still in the hospital but he has been moved out of the icu thankfully. i hope that he will be home soon.
