yes i’m still saving up for my own pair of glasses frames from zenni optical. probably going to get some when i get my money for xmas if i can get all my information straightened out. when i went to go see what new frames they had i realized, hey! the site changed, and it looks like some of the prices went down as well!

the new search features on the site are great and they have another new feature that lets you try on the pair of glasses by taking a photo of yourself and uploading it. then you can see what they will look like on you, which is great, because sometimes glasses look really cute just sitting there, but they look funky on your face.

as much as i love those colourful frames with the rhinestones, i’m probably going to go for something more practical like these:

what do you think?

maybe i’ll get the black and green ones with rhinestones for sunglasses :p

well its been a while since i blogged and that’s due to a lot of feeling blah, but also being extremely cold and whiney and uninterested in typing.

yesterday my mom finally saw a real doctor, and i am so glad that she did because things were getting out of control with her health. the doctor was very nice and was very concerned with her current situation, so hopefully he’ll be able to straighten out a few things and get her on the right track.

i might do more product review stuff on this blog since i can’t come up with anything to actually talk about. i signed up for a site called Smile.ly which seems to have some interesting offers and it might be fun to try out new products and stuff! might as well do something with my time.

i also know i have a few videogames to write about here recently. steam just about killed my wallet with recent sales. i got Fallout: New Vegas from a good friend of mine who works at Bethesda, and then i went and bought Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Ghostbusters the videogame. i can’t help it i’m a nerd. but anyway i’m enjoying the hell out of all 3 of those games and will try to sit down and write something about them later on.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of MyTies. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have noticed a lot of my friends using apps to keep in touch with friends and family via their phones so i wanted to share this great new free app for the Iphone called MyTies! Now while i do not have an Iphone myself i did check out the site, MyTies.com,to see what it was all about.

Basically, this app allows you to use your iphone phonebook as a sort of private, personal, social network. Not unlike twitter, or facebook. Its safer than those sites though, because everything is private only to the groups you make on the app. So you could have a "family" group, and share stuff about where you are at the moment, or family related photos and messages. Then you can have a group for close friends, where you can share different stuff with them that the other groups can't see. It all sounds very cool to me. The app only allows you to invite people to see what you want to post, so you don't have to worry about someone seeing something you didn't want them to. I really love applications that work hard to keep your private life private. Facebook should take a lesson from these people!

So if you have an Iphone, do check out this app! Its free so you really have nothing to lose here!
